Making high-quality SEL sustainable and scalable for every school, every district and every student.
The Urban Assembly’s Resilient Scholars Program is a K–12, whole-school approach that helps schools build social-emotional learning into everyday practice. Through a three-year embedded model, schools develop the systems, instructional practices and assessment strategies needed to strengthen student confidence, self-awareness and social-emotional skills.
The Resilient Scholars Portal brings this research-based model together in one accessible platform. Schools receive a clear implementation roadmap, practical tools and actionable data to understand their progress, identify what is working and determine what to do next. Whether a school is beginning its SEL journey or strengthening existing practices, the Portal meets educators where they are and helps districts create a consistent, evidence-informed approach across every school.
REI provides educators with responsive, 24/7 guidance for putting SEL into practice. Educators can ask REI for lesson strategies, targeted activities, help interpreting reports or guidance on the next step in their implementation rubric. From classroom questions to schoolwide planning, REI offers real-time coaching that extends support beyond professional-development sessions and helps educators deliver SEL with greater confidence and fidelity.
Together, the Resilient Scholars Portal and REI give schools the tools, training, data and ongoing support to create safe, connected and resilient learning environments—making high-quality SEL sustainable and scalable for every school, every district and every student.
